WHY 123 RUG CLEANING?

We believe our rug cleaning process to be one of the most thorough and safe available. Proper rug and carpet cleaning requires rugs to be totally immersed in water or solvent. Most 'at home' processes only touch the surface and not vary well at that. At 123 cleaners our carpet cleaning process is undertaken by highly skilled experts who know which procedure will maximise the cleaning result without risk risk of damage.

We start with a thorough pre clean inspection checking for stains, weaknesses, colourfastness of dyes etc to ascertain which is the best and safest cleaning process.

For simple cotton and wool type rugs we will normally gently clean them in our hugh washing or dry cleaning machines. For more delicate Persian, Chinese or Indian rugs we usually use a process that completely immerses the rug in water whilst lain out flat. Soil and grime is then 'massaged' out using special techniques paying particular attention to stains and prominate areas such as the tasselled edges. A slow drying procedure is then necessary resulting is some rugs taking over a week to process. Once completely dry attention is paid to to rejuvenating the pile and if applicable the tasselled edges.

As you'd expect from 123 cleaners our prices are always the most competitive possible. For all rugs brought to our processing shop there is a 15% discount. Many factors influence the price of cleaning from the material, type, design and value so to give an accurate price we really need to see the rug but as a rule of thumb go by £20 per m2.
